When you contact your carrier (see our Carrier Directory) to file a claim, it's helpful to have the following information ready:
- Your policy number.
- The date and time of the incident.
- A detailed description of what happened.
- Contact information for any other parties involved (e.g., other drivers, witnesses).
- Photos or videos of any damage, if applicable.
- The police report number, if a police report was filed.
